BEST FRENCH RESTAURANT FOUND IN BARBADOS
"We went looking for a taco bar that was at this location but found le Shack. We are 4 adults and 2 yound adults. We tried appetizers ( salmon tartar, salt cod crab cakes, charcuterie board, grilled watermelon salad) and we loved it all. Entrees were next....hamburger, generously cooked to perfection steak, catch of the day swordfish, goat cheese salad with strawberries, tomatoes, nuts, lightly cooked tuna, and a moist and delicious pork chop. All were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The drinks were creative and were made with fresh fruits. Last but not least were desserts. We ordered a dish of 3 sorbets, creme brule, and rum banana cake. All in all we will be sure to return on our next trip to Barbados, This is a GEM"

The staff was fantastic and the food was amazing. Topped of with some delicious and somewhat distinct drinks, all around it was a spot I'll be visiting multiple times.
LE SHACK IS A WONDERFUL RESTAURANT
Plain and simple. It is not on the beach, or overlooking a spectacular view, but it feels just like being in a Bistro somewhere in the French countryside. The music selection is wonderfully eclectic... one minute particularly French, the next current American pop, but it lends itself so perfectly to the unpretentious atmosphere... the owner doesn't try to pretend this is a West Coast million dollar setting, but delivers food that could be in most of the restaurants on that side of the island that charge twice and three times as much as Le Shack. The service is extremely friendly and efficient, everyone has a smile and everyone seems to love what they are doing! Even the menu is wonderfully unpretentious and even pokes fun at its own "Frenchness". I love this place... try the snails in mushroom sauce, the goats cheese salad, the tuna nicoise, the braised lamb shank, the steak and chips... yes, I have been back several times!

LE SHACK BRINGS THE CHARM!
We were so fortunate to find a table here as a walk-in last night. Beautiful, low-key ambience; staff lovely; fantastic food all round. Children loved the mussels and le shack burger; aubergine gratin and Bajan chicken also a hit. Everyone blissed out on the banana explosion and creme brulee. Truly a lovely meal and restaurant.

what a great addition to The Crane neighbourhood! The pork chop was outstanding… large and delicious . The Pot de Chocolat was a very tasty end to a lovely meal. I’m looking forward to returning soon !

"Our first time visiting but definitely won’t be our last.
The ambiance is lovely - a very St Tropez vibe. The billowing yellow and white curtains and to the West Indian charm. Nice background music. Beautiful breeze blowing through.
The cocktails were fantastic. We had a Rum Sour and a French Cooler. Perfectly balanced.
The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Our seat was comfortable. The menu was amazing with so many great options. The starters were so good. We had the crab cake and the tuna carpaccio. Both were fresh and full of flavour. Can happily recommend both. We had the rib-eye and the salmon as mains. The rib eye flavours were subtle and delicious. The French fries were so good. The salmon was exquisite. Soft and delicate and mouth-wateringly amazing. The red cabbage was the perfect base and complemented it well.
Jean-Jacques the chef and owner came out and made us feel so welcome and make sure we enjoyed everything. We can’t wait to come back. We had already booked for later in the week before we left !"

A group of friends had dinner at Le Shack on opening night and we found the experience to be exquisite.
The tasteful decor creates a refined but playful Caribbean atmosphere which is expressed through warm and vivid colors that perfectly exalt the indoor-outdoor nature of the dining room where we sat.
The host and owner provided us with knowledgeable advice on the house specialties and their varied wine selection.
The ceviche was my favorite dish, but also the yellowfin tuna carpaccio with sesame seed oil and wasabi was delicious. As the main course, I enjoyed the local tuna Indochine over basmati rice, which was perfection accompanied by their Chablis. The desserts were also on point. We tried all of them and we loved them.
I would recommend Le Shack and cannot wait to visit again!
